Spectrum Spin

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Spectrum Spin (“the app,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you play. We built Spectrum Spin to need as little of your data as possible: there are no accounts, no logins, and no personal profiles.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. The app has no sign-up and does not require you to create an account.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress and preferences — unlocked levels, best scores, star ratings, and settings such as audio, haptics, tilt sensitivity, and colorblind mode — are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app.

Motion & sensor data

Gameplay uses your device's motion sensors (accelerometer/gyroscope) to steer the marble as you tilt. This motion data is processed in real time on your device only and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Advertising

The app displays ads through Google AdMob. We have configured AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only and we do not track you across other apps or websites. To serve, cap the frequency of, and measure ads, Google may process limited device information (such as a device identifier and general device data). This information is used for advertising delivery, not for cross-app tracking.

Ad measurement on iOS uses Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork framework. Google's handling of advertising data is governed by Google's policies:

Game Center

If you use the leaderboard, the app submits your Arcade score to Apple's Game Center. Game Center is provided by Apple and your use of it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple ID or personal account details.

Analytics

The app does not include third-party analytics or usage-tracking SDKs.

Children's privacy

Spectrum Spin is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because ads are non-personalized, they are not based on a profile of the user.

Your choices

You can reset all locally stored progress and settings at any time by deleting the app. On iOS you can also limit ad tracking system-wide in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
